Škerjanc, Lucijan Marija (1900–1973)

Yugoslav pianist, composer and conductor. He studied in Prague, Vienna (with Joseph Marx), Basel, and Paris (with d'Indy). He taught and conducted at Ljubljana, but later retired to devote himself to composition.

Works cantatas, five symphonies (1931–43) and other orchestral works, violin and piano concertos, five string quartets (1917–45).
