‘Jack and the Beanstalk’

English fairy tale in which Jack is the lazy son of a poor widow. When he exchanges their cow for some magic beans, the beans grow into a beanstalk up which Jack climbs to a realm above the clouds. There he tricks a giant out of various magical treasures before finally killing him by cutting down the beanstalk and causing the giant to fall to his death.
