This study includes what we believe to be the first measurements of 1,3-butadiene in smokers' and nonsmokers' breath.
Hydrogenated carboxylated nitrile butadiene robber (HXNBR) is formed by polymerizing a conjugated diene such as 1,3-butadiene, a nitrile such as acrylonitrile or methacrylonitrile and an unsaturated carboxylic acid such as acrylic or methacrylic acid to produce a polymer with a C=C backbone and a random or statistical monomer distribution.
Species differences in the production and clearance of 1,3-butadiene metabolites: a mechanistic model indicates predominantly physiological, not biochemical, control.
