SXGA

Computer colour display system, providing true colour (24-bit colour depth, giving over 16 million shades) at a resolution of 1280 × 1024. A widescreen format, SXGA+, provides 1400 × 1050 pixels.

Display formats are extending to even higher resolutions; Ultra XGA (UXGA) at a resolution of 1600 × 1200, and Quad XGA (QXGA) at 2048 × 1536, all at 24-bit colour depth.
