The second volume of The Great Treatise On The Stages Of The Path To Enlightenment continues the three-volume classic treatise of Tibetan Buddhism, first completed in 1402.
On 4 April, the Council had demanded the implementation "without delay" of resolution 1402 on the Middle East and welcomed the mission to the region by United States Secretary of State Colin Powell, as well as the peace efforts by the Quartet.
With 1402 as the watershed year in which the effects of mountain peasant revolts finally had their desired effect, Florence went from seeing the mountain highlands as a cash cow only fit to serve its financial needs and dicatates to seeing the area as an integral and even necessary part of the Florentine state, especially in light of the various wars that swirled around the Florentine borders.
