29 November 1530England [births and deaths]Thomas Wolsey (Cardinal Wolsey), English statesman who dominated King Henry VIII's government (1515–29), dies of a bowel disorder in Leicester, England, while under arrest as a traitor for his secret correspondence with Pope Clement VII (55).
