Art and photography gallery in New York run by the photographer Alfred Stieglitz. Situated at 291 Fifth Avenue, it was open 1905–17. An important centre of avant-garde art, it exhibited works by a range of US and European artists, including Henri Matisse, Auguste Rodin, Georgia O'Keeffe, Constantin Brancusi, and John Marin.
