Jack the Ripper

Popular name for the unidentified mutilator and murderer of at least five women prostitutes in the Whitechapel area of London in 1888.

Several suspects have been suggested in extensive studies of the case, including members of the royal household.

Sergeant Ada Wilson (now known as acting Inspector Wilson), is looking after the shop.
Ada Wilson, of Aigburth, writes: "How nice it was to see the men and women from the Duke of Lancaster's Regiment arriving back home safely.
We lived in a back to back terrace next door to my aunt, Ada Wilson (nee Hewitt), and her husband, Arthur, who used to make lovely wedding cakes.
