Adams, Diana (1926-1993)

US ballet dancer. Having studied with Edward Canton and Anthony Tudor, Adams became a member of the Ballet Theatre before she joined the New York City Ballet in 1950. She danced many featured roles, and created numerous others until her retirement in the mid-1960s.
