Adda

River in Italy; length 312 km/194 mi. It rises in the Ortler range of the Alps, flows through Lake Como and southeast across the Lombardy plain, past the town of Lodi, to join the River Po 13 km/8 mi to the west of Cremona.

The name is said to be of 19th century origin, derving from a field Cae Mab Adda (
Four people were killed when a blast took place in Sanori Adda area of the city here today.
The first was Adda Eldredge who was president from 1922 to 1926.
