Adelson e Salvini

Opera by Bellini (his first) with libretto by A L Tottola. It was first produced at the San Sebastiano Conservatory in Naples in early 1825, and was revised in 1826 with recitative replacing dialogue. The story tells how Salvini, infatuated by Adelson's fiancée Nelly, recovers his senses after believing he has killed her.
