Adler, Dankmar (1844-1900)

German-born architect. Adler was the engineering and structural expert in his partnership with Louis Sullivan in the late 19th-century. Together they completed 120 buildings, including the Guaranty Building, Buffalo, New York. They were most famous for their construction of skyscrapers in the US Midwest.
