Adlgasser, Anton Cajetan (1729–1777)

German organist and composer. A pupil of Eberlin in Salzburg, he was first organist of the cathedral there from 1750. His church music was highly rated by Mozart. He wrote the oratorio Christus am Ölberg, which was performed in Salzburg in 1754. With Michael Haydn and Mozart he wrote the oratorio Die Schuldigkeit des ertsen Gebotes (1767).
