Adriana Lecouvreur

Opera by Francesco Cilèa (libretto by A Colautti, based on the play Adrienne Lecouvreur by Augustin Scribe and E Legouvé), first produced at the Teatro Lirico, Milan, Italy, on 6 November 1902. In the story Adriana meets a violent death from poisoned violets, given by a rival in love.
