Advaita Vedanta

Hindu philosophy expounded by Shankara, based on the Sanskrit scripture Vedanta Sūtra, written by the mystic Vyasa. It teaches that this world is maya (illusion), and that the truth is one and indivisible. It opposes the philosophy of dvaita, ‘dualism’.
