Affton

Town in St Louis County, east-central Missouri; population (1990) 21,100. It is a largely residential suburb 14 km/9 mi southwest of downtown St Louis, situated on the Gravois Creek, inside the city's ring road. The 1850s farm of Ulysses S Grant, now a park, is to the west, near Grantwood Village.
