Opera by Gasparo Spontini (libretto by E Raupach), first produced at the Berlin, Opera, Berlin, Germany, on 12 June 1829, and revived in Florence, Italy, in 1954. In the story, Heinrich rescues Agnes from the evil King Philip of France.
