Baccio d'Agnolo (1462–1543)

Italian wood-carver and architect. His principal wood-carvings are the choir-stalls and organ case at Santa Maria Novella, Florence. His chief buildings are the Bartolini and Borgherini villas (both those in and outside Florence); and the campanili (bell-towers) of San Miniato in Florence. In 1506 he took charge of the building work of the city's cathedral.

The Borgherini villa is now known as the Palazzo Roselli de Turco, and is a splendid example of Florentine High Renaissance architecture.
