Agrippina

Opera by Handel (libretto by V Grimani), first produced at the Teatro San Giovanni Crisostomo, Venice, Italy, on 26 December 1709. The plot concerns Agrippina, the wife of the Roman emperor, who has Poppea as a rival in the promotion of her son, Nero.
