Al-Qurna

Village in eastern Iraq, 70 km/43 mi northwest of Basra. Al-Qurna is situated on the River Tigris where it joins the River Euphrates to form the Shatt-al-Arab waterway. One of the reputed sites of the Garden of Eden is nearby.
