Alberobello
| Town in Apulia region of southeast Italy, on the Murge plateau, 48 km/30 mi southeast of Bari; population (1991) 10,700. Alberobello is known for the trulli (conical, whitewashed drystone houses), still built to the ancient design, of which the old town is largely composed. |
