Albright, William (1944-1998)

US composer, pianist, and organist. He studied at the Juilliard School of Music, New York, and in Paris, France, with Olivier Messiaen. He was a teacher of composition at Michigan University, USA, and director of the electronic music studio there.

Works

multimedia and stage pieces (Cross of Gold, 1975); orchestral music (Bacchanal, 1981); chamber music and pieces for organ and piano, with jazz ensemble.
