Aldermaston

Village in west Berkshire, England, and site of an atomic and biological weapons research establishment, which employs some 5,000 people working on the production of nuclear warheads. During 1958-63 the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) made it the focus of an annual Easter protest march.
