Aldrich, Larry (1906–2001)

US entrepreneur and art collector. Having made his fortune in the garment industry, Aldrich became a benefactor of contemporary art, bestowing his extensive art collection and donating funds to many museums. In 1964 he founded the Larry Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art, Ridgefield, Connecticut.
