Aloidae

In Greek mythology, Otus and Ephialtes, the sons of Iphimede who was seduced by her father-in-law, Poseidon. The boys were known as the Aloidae after her husband, Aloeus. At the age of nine, having grown into giants, they threatened the gods with war by attempting to pile the mountains Ossa on Olympus and Pelion on Ossa and were destroyed by Apollo.
