Altaic languages

Family of languages spoken in many parts of Asia. There are three branches: Turkic, including Turkish, Azerbaijani, Kirghiz, Uzbek, Turkoman, and Kazakh; Mongol, including Kalmuck and Buryat; and Manchu and Tungus.
