Amadeo, Giovanni Antonio (1447–1522)

Italian sculptor and architect. In collaboration with others, he decorated the Certosa at Pavia from 1466. He also took part in the sculpture of the great octagonal dome of Milan Cathedral. Independently, he sculpted the monument of Bartolommeo Colleoni in the Church of Sta Maria Maggiore, Bergamo.
