American organ

Keyboard reed organ similar to the harmonium, differing from the latter in some details, particularly in sucking in the wind through its reeds instead of expelling it.

Its principle was discovered by a workman attached to Jacob Alexandre (1804–1876), an instrument maker in Paris, France, but he took it to the USA and the first important instruments of the kind were made by Mason & Hamlin of Boston around 1860.
