Amon, Johann Andreas (1763-1825)

German horn player, composer, and conductor. He toured in France and Germany and had composition lessons from Sacchini in Paris in 1781; he became musical director at Heilbronn in 1789, and Kapellmeister to the Prince of Oettingen-Wallerstein in 1817.
