Pisano, Andrea (c. 1290–c. 1348)

A statue of the Virgin, in the Piazza delle Erbe, Verona, Italy, by Italian sculptor and architect Andrea Pisano (c. 1290–c. 1348).

Italian sculptor. He made the earliest bronze doors for the Baptistery of Florence Cathedral, completed in 1336. He completed the campanile for the cathedral, designed by Giotto.
