Andrews Air Force Base

Military airport in Prince George's County, central Maryland, USA; locality population (1990) 10,200. It is situated 16 km/10 mi southeast of Washington, DC. Established in 1942, it is home base for presidential and other governmental aircraft, and an arrival point for visiting dignitaries.
