Andromeda

Genus of plants belonging to the Ericaceae (heather) family. They are shrubs native to Europe, Asia and North America. Bog rosemary Andromeda polifolia grows in British peat bogs; rosemary-leaved marsh andromeda A. rosmarinifolia is found in Newfoundland and Labrador.
