Anet, Jean-Jacques-Baptiste (1676-1755)

French violinist and composer. He wrote sonatas and other works for violin. He travelled in France and Italy, studying with Corelli in Rome, and made a great reputation in Paris 1701-35, at the Concert Spirituel with the Violons du Roy. He retired to the court of the ex-king of Poland, Stanislas (Stanisław) Leszczyński, at Lunéville in 1738.
