Bosnian CrisisPeriod of international tension in 1908 when Austria attempted to capitalize on Turkish weakness after the Young Turk revolt by annexing the provinces of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Russia also failed to obtain necessary French and British agreements on the straits. How to thank TFD for its existence?
