Antonio (1921–1996)

Spanish dancer, choreographer, and director. He toured the world with his partner, Rosario. He established a National Ballet Company 1953, choreographing in a blend of classical ballet and Spanish dance, but is remembered primarily for his mesmerizing personality and dazzling technique as a soloist in pure Spanish dance.

He was director of the Spanish National Ballet 1980–83.
