antirrhinum

Any of several plants in the figwort family, including the snapdragon (Antirrhinum majus). Foxgloves and toadflax are relatives. Antirrhinums are native to the Mediterranean region and western North America. (Genus Antirrhinum, family Scrophulariaceae.)
