Anzam Treaty
| 1948 arrangement between Australia, New Zealand, and Malaya to coordinate service planning in defending air and sea communications in the region. Cover was extended to the defence of Malaya 1954–55, but this was incorporated into the Anglo-Malayan Defence Agreement shortly after Malayan independence in 1957. |
