Aozou Strip

Disputed territory 100 km/60 mi wide on the Chad–Libya frontier, occupied by Libya 1973, part of Chad according to an International Court of Justice ruling 1994. Lying to the north of the Tibesti massif, the area is rich in uranium and other minerals.
