Aranaz, Pedro (1740–1820)

Spanish priest and composer. He was appointed maestro de capilla at Saragossa Cathedral in 1766, having been a choir-boy there. After a year at Zamora he went to Cuença Cathedral in 1769.

church music with orchestral accompaniment, and secular songs (tonadillas and villancicos).
