Ardingly

Village in West Sussex, England, 11 km/7 mi southeast of Crawley; 2001) 1,800. Wakehurst Place, a 16th-century mansion with gardens and woodland, is managed by the Royal Botanical Gardens on behalf of the National Trust. The church at Ardingly, St Peter's, dates from the 14th century.
