Using the 305-meter radio dish at Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico, researchers examined several craters at the moon's poles. A giant radar beacon at the Arecibo observatory in Puerto Rico will bounce signals off the asteroid as it whizzes past. To detect those objects, Margot's team used the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico and NASA's Goldstone Tracking Facility in California's Mojave Desert. |
