Arensberg, Walter (Conrad) (1878-1954)

US art collector. Arensberg collected works by cubist artists and was a founder of the literary magazine, Others (1917). He attempted to prove through cryptology that Francis Bacon wrote the works of Shakespeare. Arensberg donated his art collection to the Philadelphia Museum of Art in 1950.
