Ariosti, Attilo (1666–c. 1729)

Italian composer. He produced his first opera in Venice in 1696, and was court composer in Berlin 1697–1703. Later, he visited Vienna, London, and Bologna, and wrote six operas for the Royal Academy of Music, London.
