Aronson, Boris (1900–1980)

Russian-born set designer. Aronson began his New York career in 1924 working for the Unser Theatre and for the Yiddish Art Theatre. He was the winner of the New York Drama Critics Award in 1964 for Fiddler on the Roof, and his other sets included those for those for Three Men on a Horse (1935), Detective Story (1949), and J B (1958).
