arsinoitherium

Extinct ungulate mammal, known from fossil remains discovered in the lower Oligocene strata of Egypt. It resembled a rhinoceros in appearance and was herbivorous. Its brain was small, and the head massive, bearing two huge pairs of horns. It is an isolated animal with no known close relatives.
