Elias Ashmole in 1659 and given to the University of Oxford by Ashmole in 1677. Using mixed media and three-dimensional pieces, A-Level student, Christina Ashmole, 18, has explored the two sides of the effects of war. Retired vet Emrys Bowen handed the event's individual honours to Mr Williams' three-year-old Southdown ram Ashmole Aristocrat, then plumped for a trio of Suffolks from the 20-ewe Hendre Fechan flock he keeps at Capel Seion, near Aberystwyth. |
