Ashwell (or Ashewell or Hashewell), Thomas (c. 1478–after 1513)

English composer. In 1508 he was informator choristarum (choirmaster) at Lincoln Cathedral, and in 1513 held the equivalent post in Durham. His surviving works include four Masses, two (God save King Harry and Sancte Cuthberte) in a fragmentary state and two (Ave Maria and Jesu Christe) complete.
