Aspland, Robert (1782-1845)

English churchman. Aspland joined the Unitarians (see Unitarianism) after being expelled from the Baptist Church, and spent most of his career preaching to the poor in the East End of London.

Aspland founded an academy for training Unitarian ministers, and was chiefly responsible for the formation of the British and Foreign Unitarian Association, in 1825.
