Opera by Jean-Baptiste Lully (libretto by Philippe Quinault), first produced at Saint-Germain, France, on 10 January 1676 and first performed in Paris in April 1676. It describes how Atys stabs himself for love and is transformed into a pine tree by Cybele.

The opera of the same title by Niccolò Piccinni (libretto by Quinault, altered by J-F Marmontel), was first produced at the Paris Opéra, France, on 22 February 1780.
