AvalonIn Celtic mythology, the island of the blessed or paradise; one of the names of the Welsh Otherworld. In the legend of King Arthur, it is the land of heroes, a fruitful land of youth and health ruled over by Morgan le Fay; Arthur is conveyed here to be healed of his wounds after his final battle with Mordred.
